Characteristics of the system
Open structure is capable to provide practically unlimited possibilities in expansion and changing of the system. It will not cause you any difficulties with addition of new control objects or workstations, modification of communication or electrical circuit of a substation. Architecture of the system
ASDC is distributed multistage enterprise-wide, district or region system which consists of two or more levels. Supplied with the system development tools will help you manage with all insignificant problems singly without assistance of the developer.
Upper level subsystem
To the subsystem of the upper level refers hardware-software complexes of dispatch stations of industrial enterprises and regional electric networks. Subsystem of the upper level provides accumulation, processing and information display received from control object and uses interface to read out a control effect towards control objects.
The base hardware of the upper level subsystem is IBM PC – PCs, connected into local computer network. The upper level of the subsystem includes some workstations, communication server (servers) and databases.
Workplaces and servers software are complex of tasks realized on SCADA-system FIX-32 and operating with OS Windows NT 4.0.
Lower level subsystem
To the subsystem of the lower level refers telemechanics systems of control and management objects. Lower level hardware exercises gathering, primary processing and data transmission to the upper level from control and management objects. Operation of all equipment is automatic process and do not require interference of the technical staff.
The base system of the lower level is a universal controlling station (UCS) of our in-house design built with application of modules Micro PC (produced by Octagon Systems). Technical execution of UCS allows us to modify its structure depending on concrete application achieving optimum relationship quality/price.
Channels of communication
At the upper levels of the system the local computer networks of an enterprise are used.
As a communications channels between subsystems there are shared and dedicated line telephone lines, radiochannels, GSM-channels, high frequency anв satellite connection used. Between upper level subsystems or ASDC and adjacent systems TCP/IP protocols are used. Between upper and lower levels subsystems standard protocols of telemechanics systems are used.
User-friendly interface
Very convenient and intuitively clear interface is developed in the system. System of assistance, screen tips and interactive menu will help you to learn the system very quickly and effectively work with it. Sound and light alarm systems will pay your attention to arisen fluctuation even if you are distracted or tired after a long shift.
System conditions control
Our system performs continuous automatic control and analyses of technological parameters and equipment state of the control objects. In case of off-nominal functioning or changes in equipment state you will see an error message with corresponding notification. Continuous control and analyses of situation allows immediately and effectively prevent, identify and eliminate failures at early stages.
Operative control
Our system provides control of any executive device with simple button-press from any ASDC workstation. Possibility of instruction issue by the register relieves an operator from necessity of multiple repeating of the same actions during linking-up or disconnection of customers groups.
Network regimes calculation
The system allows to solve the following number of tasks: calculation and analyses of steady-state regimes of electrical networks, stressed regime calculation, commutation modeling of the objects schemes and optimization of electrical network regime based on data automatically received via telemetric channels or displayed by operator manually. There is also pictorial representation with calculated and source data parameters realized.
Data achieving and events register
All information received from objects of control with regard to operator actions and occurrence of contingencies achieves and records to events registers. Achieves and registers analyses allow to estimate an operation of equipment and electrical networks, predict its state or understand the reasons of emergency, take measures for the prediction of future undesirable occurrences.
Documentation and reporting
At the system well realized functions of report forms and documentation generation. All you need is to select report type and period and then get an automatically generated report in Microsoft Excel.
Data support
Infobase of the system contains all necessary information for effective work and control: objects and networks plans, equipment catalogues, its characteristics and condition; plans of works execution and its conditions, normative, technical, technological? reference and other information – you should only do a mouse click.
Defense and security
For defense and security ensuring there are users identification and password protection in the system. Shift changeover time records at the shift register. The number of functions for a concrete user defines according to authority.
Personnel training
There are built-in facilities for modeling of the processes in the networks, so it allows to conduct a periodical training, education and knowledge tests of the operators modeling concrete real situations for the real objects control and management as an example..
